By using YallaGo, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy and applicable Tunisian laws.
We collect different types of data depending on your profile (Customer, Courier, or Restaurant).
2.1. Information Provided by User:
Identity: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Phone Number (+216).
Courier Profile (Additional): Copy of driver's license, vehicle registration, National ID (CIN), profile photo for verification purposes.
2.2. Location Data (IMPORTANT):
For Customers: We collect your precise location to display nearby restaurants and determine the delivery address.
For Couriers (Background Location): We collect your device's location, even when the app is running in the background, to:
Dispatch orders close to your location.
Allow the Customer to track their order in real-time.
Calculate delivery fees based on actual distance.
2.3. Transaction Data:
Order details (items, allergies, preferences).
Transaction amount and payment method (Cash or Card).
We use your data to:
Provide the Service: Process your order and ensure its delivery.
Improve the Service: Analyze food preferences to suggest restaurants.
Communication: Send updates regarding order status (Push Notifications, SMS).
Safety: Verify courier identities for user safety.
We do not sell your personal data. It is shared strictly for service execution:
With the Restaurant: Your first name and order details for preparation.
With the Courier: Your first name, delivery address, and phone number (masked if possible, or direct) to contact you upon arrival.
Legal Authorities: If required by Tunisian law (e.g., police investigation).
We implement technical security measures (SSL/HTTPS encryption) to protect your data against unauthorized access. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
In compliance with the 2004 Organic Law, you have the following rights:
Right of Access: You can request a copy of your data.
Right to Rectification: You can update your information within the app.
Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can request the deletion of your account and data by contacting us or using the "Delete My Account" option in the app settings.
